6th International Risk Management Conference 2013: Enduring Financial Stability – Contemporary Challenges for Risk Management and Governance
After the fifth successful edition in Rome, the permanent organizers (University of Florence, NYU Stern Salomon Center) together with this year’s Host Institution (Copenhagen Business School) in collaboration with the Corporate Governance Unit of the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) invite you to join the Sixth edition of the International Risk Management Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, June 24-25, 2013.
The conference will bring together leading experts from various academic disciplines and professionals for a two-day conference including three keynote plenary sessions, three parallel featured sessions and a professional workshop on Contemporary Risk Mmanagement Challenges – Managing Risk in an Unstable Environment. The key theme of the conference is Enduring Financial Stability: Contemporary Challenges for Risk Management and Governance.
Edward Altman (NYU Stern Salomon Center), Lasse Pedersen (CBS) and Richard A. Bettis (UNC Chapel Hill) have confirmed their participation as keynote speakers. Featured lecturers include Phil Bromiley (UC Irvine) and Glenn Harrison (Georgia State University). The participation of other ‘prominent academics’ in Banking, Behavioral Finance, Economics, Strategy and Risk Management will be announced as they confirm their attendance. Many other acknowledged scholars in related research fields are expected to attend and the conference welcomes all relevant methodological and empirical contributions.
